Saturday was the worst day of my life so far i fink. it was hidious. I cant believe what happend. It was a total accedent. i truly was! But the truth of that matter is that i nearly killed him...
I was doing suome practice driving on our field when my little bro of 10 came out. now he does a bit of driving himself, and so the car being driven what not only a common occurance, but also one that he wished happend more.
He started being a traffic warden for me. id stop infront of him and he would wave forward some imaginary cars going the other way. then id be let through. this carried on few times round the field. then it happend...
i stoped infont of him, and me being cocky i nudged forward closer to him. and i though he jumped on the bannet.. ya know for a ride. so i accelerated off, still in forst so no faster than 10 or 15 (but done get me wrong, still too fast) and tne suddenly i noticed he wasnt looking v comfortable on the bnnet and also the end of the field was fast approachong.
i broke. he slid off. the breaks locked and long storty short i didnt stop. he ended up under the car.
also the whole time the parents wernt in. they were when i started driving, but they can gone out quickly. there was an ambulace, 2 paramedics, 4 policecars, 2 fire engines and 1 helecopter. after being under the car for about an hour. he was airlefted to hospital and that night he underwebt 6 hours of surgary on his legs because they were such a mess. i broke both hsi legs and his collar bone. 4 inces was the different between the wheel hitting his head or not.
he will be 6 weeks in a wheel chair. i feel awful. just teribble. i cant believe it. in my hed all i have going over and over is the even of him disapearing under the car, the car bumping over him and hearing his screams.
its stuck on repeat and its driving me crazy!! iv cryed more this weekend that most of my life put into one. i cant deal with it. and today im going to see him for the first time in hospital. i havent spoekn to him since. im nt sure how wel im going to be able to deal with it tbh.
i just cant believe what happend. i just hate myself for it.... i really do
