im back. and what a year it has been. where do i start? where i left off really. last time i was here i was a bit shaken up. i had jst had a big accedent involving my little brother. a year on and he is much better. he has had his last opperation to remove all his metal work from his legs and is underway with his new bicycle he got for his 12th birthday yesterday
In jan 08 i had my first taste of AS level exams. scary to say the least, and more in June. Long story short i came out with 5 c's. which is a start. respectable. maths, physics, food tech, business and general studies (if it can be classed as a real subject(it was compulsory)).
This news was sent to me while i was the other side of the world believe it or not. i ended up spending july and august is New Zealand and Australia! i was so excited. The 19 hour plane journy brought that hype down a bit but so very worth it. In NZ we stayed in Auckland for near enough 2 weeks. I met Marler family i have never met before. We (my family) are the only Marlers this side of the equator, and iv never met others, so this was amaizing. After lots of this we went to rotarua for a few nights. it was great fun. Amaizing geological and geothermal site. really interesing.
Then off to Queenstown on the south island for 5 days. I tried my hand at snowboarding. it was awsome! unfortuanatelly i couldnt sit down for 2 days afterwards! hahaha. oh well. totally worth it though.
Then we went to Melbourne for 5 nights. Here i met my Auntie Amanda. My dads sister. I have NEVER met her in my life. seriously. and my dad hadnt seen her in 20 years!! so it was incredible. very emotional.
Then for more of a holiday we went to perth for 2 weeks. Winter? PFFFT!! it was 25 degrees! thats not winter. thats not even summer here for f*cks sake! oh well. cant say i complained.
Then it was home to glourious england, and to be welcomed with nothing better than A-levels. And that nearly gets you up to date. But not quite.
Between now and then i turned 18
ho hum. And then only 2 days ago my dad walked ito my room to tell me my Auntie Brenda had died at 3 AM that morning. It was a very sad day. But it was right in the end becuase for the last two weeks she had been sufering after 2 storkes. She was ready. its what she wanted. So sleep wel Auntie B, We'll miss you...
And then yesterday i had an archery competition that i loved! i won my first senior medal! so pleased. and i got the highest score of the day for mens recurve! 277 out of 300! so chuffed with myself.
anyways, its glad to be back and i hope ill see everyone about.xxx
